The task of the competition was to create a new package for the limited edition for Fruttimo, which is created by combining the water of Aquila and the Granini juice. This combination should be reflected in the design of an unmistakable bottle label from designer Mark Mikovec, who received the World Beverage Innovation Award 2015 for him.
Our Art Directior Yana Gurskaya won the first prize. The winning proposal is called Aquarelle. Yana, working in the field of visual identities, used watercolors to evoke water and juice. The minimalist design easily adds to the unobtrusive shape of the bottle.
The jury appreciated the perfectly solved lack of space on the label, the connection of the graphic design part with the lettering therefore it creates clean, subtle design. “Here is the best mixing of juice with water” the author of the bottle Fruttimo and one of the jurors Marek Mikovec summarized.
“It stands out on the shelf, there is something delicate hand-made behind it. The white color of the sleeve is pure, elegant and luxurious, “said Peter Schenk, marketing director of Karlovy Vary’s mineral waters and one of the jurors.
